Tribal Bow

A working shootable bow with the ability to grab the string and arrow with hand gestures. It took many hours of work and lots of broken unity packages to get this to work so I'm pretty happy with the result. 

Features:

• Easy to import onto any model, or change textures to your liking. 
• Uses vrchat hand gestures to give it realistic shooting
• Pre made masks in the .PSD for emissions and such.
• Arrow collides with walls and objects
• Low polly count (2500 triangles)
• Optimized for vrchat
• Tutorial for easy setup

Update 2.0 :

Features:

• Fire arrow toggle
• Multiple arrows can be fired and stuck into walls (10 arrows at a time max)
• Better motion/handling
• Easier set up 
• Made in unity 2019.4.31 f1
• New tutorial 

Update 2.1 (1/16/2022):

Features:

• Fixed arrow rotation when colliding on wall
• New t-pose default

3.0 Update (6/19/2022):

Features:

• Added a tension system so the power of the arrow depends on how far you pull back
• Added VRC receivers and senders to make things easier (fist gesture for everything now)
  • Have to put your hand close the the arrow in the quiver to grab it
  • Have to put your hand close to the string to grab it
  • Arrow jumps to the string when close to string
• Easier FX merging with Avatars 3.0 Manager

Update 3.1 (9/7/22):

• Removed the Avatar 3.0 Manager from the project to support future updates
